As I predicted (although it probably happened before I wrote my article) Watson is entering the work place.
Watson is slated to help researchers identify DNA and RNA relationships in cancer patients to determine the appropriate (if there is one with a high success rate) therapy for a cancers specific signature.
As I indicated – Watson will no doubt have a huge impact on businesses and sciences in the upcoming years. Watson’s job is to answer questions given a set of data. One day the average household will have the financial ability to have a Watson in their den. I can only imagine the impact this will have on the world – even if only 1% or even less of the people with Watsons in their home make full utilization of the Watson at home.
